Pastor David O. Taylor

Pastor David Taylor is a dynamic pastor, teacher, and preacher who is on the
move for God. Like King David of the Old Testament, he is “a man after God’s own heart.” He is a leader
of uncommon wisdom, humility, compassion, and integrity. His preaching and teaching have
transformed the lives of many.

Pastor David is a 1984 graduate of Sussex Central High School, Sussex, VA. He is an alumnus of the following:

Richard Bland College where he received an associate degree in Business Administration;
Evans-Smith Leadership Institute of Virginia Union University School of Theology; St. Paul’s College,
where he received a bachelor’s in Organizational Management, and Capella University where he received a

master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Pastor Taylor is also a co-owner and the CEO of Accent Group and

Family Services, a community-based services agency, with locations in Richmond and Fredericksburg, VA.

Pastor David and his high school sweetheart, Laura Urquhart, were married in 1988. They are blessed
with three sons and daughters-in-law: Brandon and Kristen, Travon and Ashley Jo, and Quinton and C'esa; and five grandchildren, Caden, Braylon, Quincy, Taves, and Michele.

Dr. Laura Taylor is the epitome of a ‘virtuous woman’, “the heart of her husband
doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil, she will do him good and not evil all the
days of her life” (Proverbs 31:11-12).

Dr. Laura co-labors in ministry with her husband, Pastor David Taylor. She is a woman of uncommon
faith and wisdom. She truly loves the Lord and has dedicated her life to serving Him and His people. Her
character is exhibited in her daily life as she strives to live a life that pleases God.

Dr. Laura loves children and taught elementary-aged students for over 13 years. She remains active in
Chesterfield County Public Schools as a MEGA Mentor, and she serves on the board of several organizations in her community. She wants children to excel and reach their highest dreams. Dr. Laura pours out wisdom and knowledge that
literally changes and transforms the lives of many. She has published two children's books:
THE BEE-ATITUDES: Bee-atrice the Bumblebee Becomes a Humble Bee and The BEE-ATITUDES: Bee-atrice Is Comforted in Grief.

Dr. Laura is a 1985 graduate of Sussex Central High School, Sussex, VA. She is a 1989 graduate of James
Madison University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, and a 2002
graduate of Mary Baldwin College where she received a master’s degree in teaching. Dr. Laura has also
obtained a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

Dr. Laura and Pastor David were married in 1988 and have three sons and daughters-in-law: Brandon and Kristen, Travon and Ashley Jo, and Quinton and C'esa; and five grandchildren: Caden, Braylon, Quincy, Taves, and Michele.
